    John,

Yep, it's not there. To add it:

    1) Right click on the iaStorAV key, click on New and Key, type StartOverride for the name, and press Enter.

    2) In the right pane of the new StartOverride key, right click on an empty space, click on New and DWORD (32-bit) Value, type 0 (number zero) for the name, and press Enter.

What should I do about the StartOverride key DWORD value in the iaStorV key ?

You'll still do steps 3 to 5 for it. :)

Sorry to bug you with so many questions but I want to make sure I get it right this time.
In the screenshot for steps 3-5 in the tutorial the iaStorV key does not show the StartOverride key but in my system it does.
Does it not belong there? If it does, how to treat it?

It's no bother at all. You don't add the StartOverride key for steps 3-5. You would only do so for step 6 if not there. :)

So then I would leave the StartOverride key in iaStorV alone? The value is currently set to 3.

Interestingly when I checked my Lenovo P300 system at home which also has an 850 EVO SSD the StartOverride keys in iaStorAV and iaStorV are both set to 3, yet when looking at The Samsung Magician software it shows AHCI is enabled.

I'd go ahead and change it to "0" (zero) since it's already there.

Thanks Brink, Looks good, system started shows AHCI enabled in Samsung Magician.
Would you recommend enabling Samsung's RAPID mode for better performance?
