Hi! I've been trying to enable the ultra fast boot mode but when I click save and exit, it loads the uefi menu again even when I physically restart the system. on the other hand the fast boot mode works perfectly, any suggestion? thanks!

Hello Chango96, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

This could happen if your graphics card doesn't support ultra fast boot mode.

Hello Shawn mate I ma just starting the tutorial dual boot 7 and 10 and it mentions disabling the fast boot. Now my Asus P25520LA laptop has a legacy like BIOS screen (really annoying) and I have found the secure boot and disabled it but cannot find the fast boot option.

I have looked under just about all the other settings but nothing

So am stuck as to what to do??

    Hello John, :)

It appears that you do not have a "Fast Boot" option available, so you could continue on with the installation.

Thanks Shawn I just wanted to make sure as I mentioned there is no fast boot option in the machines EUFI BIOS.

Sorry to be such a nuisance just didn't want to muck it up.

Thanks again as patient as ever:)

Will do the dual boot tomorrow as I shall have more time after getting back from town. But it is good to be back at home again amongst all the machines and the problems that have apparently been around with 10 have not happened with mine they are going real good.

    Hello Zane, :)

Usually, you will need to temporarily disable Fast Boot to be able to boot from your Windows 10 installation USB flash drive. You can re-enable Fast Boot after you have finished Windows installation though.
