You have no System Reserved partition at the beginning of the drive. I'm not familiar with how Acer handles BIOS and the boot MBR, but based on what I see, it will never see the WIN 10 partition as anything but a data partition. Nothing bootable. Jeff? Dude? Anybody? Somebody with Acer experience.... out of my narrow field of knowledge.

I never did. Do I need to create one? If so, how?

Just a thought: try Shift/Restart to see if it offers the use of another operating system.

If you read the TUT and you use a formatted partition, you do not get that 350mb SR. I don't know, I used to boot 7 with 6 Linux distros without problems. Maybe the Tutorial need a look at.

Go to any restart option ( like alt/ctrl/delete), but before you click "restart" hold down the shift key then click restart.

I am officially done with trying to dual boot 10. I will just upgrade 7 to the final. It will be a great deal easier at least for me.

I am back on 10 using a separate drive. Seems to be working just fine.
