    You already have a Virtual Switch. Here is mines
    Hyper-V virtualization - Setup and Use in Windows 10-image-001.png

    Try removing both:
    1- click the switch
    2-click remove
    Hyper-V virtualization - Setup and Use in Windows 10-image-002.png

    Then just start over.

    Exactly. One physical host NIC can only be assigned to one external virtual switch at any given time. Usually you can only have two external switches, one using the LAN / Ethernet NIC and the other using the wireless NIC.

    I thought it would be better for her as Wynona IS just learning, and when I want to learn I go back to zero and start from the beginning until I have the steps in order down packed:)

    Removing an external virtual switch assigned to a wireless physical adapter can be really tricky, in some cases needing a reinstall of Windows before the switch can be re-created.
