    Hi @Kari, I have found out that running a Windows 10 VM gives you a lot more versatility than an Ubuntu. I like that I can simply copy & paste my files & installers into the Windows VM(saves a lot of time, when I just copy my installer folder or my registry hacks. Batch files I can run from OneDrive). Plus I can get a real full screen and sound!

    CentOS and Red Hat Enterprise are two Linux distros supporting the Enhanced Mode directly out-of-the-box, if you want to try. I prefer CentOS, I like it very much.

    I'll have to give CentOS a try. I only want the Linux for 2 reasons: 1.) I don't want to get out of practice. 2.) For security when browsing "Unknown sites".

    Download from here, the CentOS-7-x86_64-DVD-1511.iso is the one you want to if you do not server version ftp://centos.arlionprojects.com/7.2.1511/isos/x86_64/.

    Running a VM will not help you with number 2. Your external public IP will be available to everyone.

Solved Windows 10 and Hyper-V in Installation and Upgrade
I tried to install the preview as a virtual machine and everything went fine until after a reboot following the download and installation of the updates. Both 8.1 & 10 locked up with a strange crackling noise through the speakers every few seconds....
