Ya - what I typed is from Method One. But I did try the Creators Version video first. Several times.. LOL
And the result was the same. I had given up on the Creators Version video, as Method One has worked for me (several times) in the past.
I also did what you suggested and pulling the network cable to get it to 'Pause' at the same point as in the video. I also tried starting sysprep at the Region Selection Screen as well.
Maybe I will give the video method one more chance. I originally had an older unattend file that specified the location of install.wim (I see in the newer versions that is no longer needed). However, I don't think that makes a difference. Also, I suppose it might be possible I didn't launch command prompt with admin rights. I never had to worry or do anything special for that before, it just worked, so I never paid attention. (When I returned to Method One, and it still didn't work, I paid attention to the elevated cmd prompt and had updated my unattend file to match the latest contents in the tutorial.)
Also, in the video I could not follow what he was doing or saying in regards to creating the user account. Was any of that important or just something he was doing for his particular use (domain)?
Heck - I am almost tempted to reinstall a previous version of Windows to make sure I can still get that to work. (I've previously got this to work, on this same machine, several times in the past.)
