Hello,
I wanted to do a clean install of Windows 10 on my pc but seems I can't. Probably can, but I am stuck. No I am not an expert, far from an expert actually, and I am not English, but doing my best to understand everything in English
I created a USB with the Media Creation Tool. I boot my pc with it. No problem so far.
But then after step 10 in the tutorial I get this message:
"Windows cannot be installed on this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only installed on GPT disks." ( I had to translate that as I get it in Dutch of course)
This pc originally had Windows 8, then upgrade to 8.1 and now I upgraded to Windows 10. Never really had any problems. But I would like to make a fresh clean start now with Windows 10 and also remove the recovery partition. I thought using this tutorial that would now be possible in an easy way for me. But like I said I am stuck now.
Do I need to create a different kind of USB or anything else I have to do? I have no idea, sorry
Luckily I managed to stop the installation and the pc still works
Any help how to proceed is appreciated. Thank you in advance.
