    Hello Cognus,

There's currently no official 10049 ISO available, but you could create an ISO after updating to 10049 though.

sheesh, so the answer is 'not really' .. and why/how did I get 9926 when I logged in to insider and picked the download page?
had to go "dark" to find the 10041... may as well for 10049.. [I didn't say that!]

If you wanted to wait, the 10049 ISO will be available to download when it's available to update on the slow release probably next week sometime.

    close enough!
I have two diff systems I'm working with, one laptop on Fast ring, one Desktop on slow.
On the fast one, it appears to have attempted to download 10049 at least twice - gets to something like 71%, fails.
Should I delete some index files or a folder and give it a fresh try? I realize this isn't a 'clean install' question -

You could restart the PC, and try again to see if it may finish.

it actually flipped suddenly from 70-something% to 100%, said ready to install, failed. I should have been more explicit. the network connection is rock-solid

What was the error message? There are 2 fairly common reasons - not enough free disk space and running update as a non-administrator account...
