I was thinking of an expandable context menu to open in command prompt and command prompt admin, wscript.exe and wscript.exe admin, powershell and powershell admin, and notepad. Analogous the powershell menu in this thread nut for vbs, bat and cmd files. Of course not all of those options would be applicable. Does that make sense?
Ok sounds good. I know that windows script hist is one of the options to run and/edit. Do bat, cmd and vbe files run independently from wscript and cmd or does wscript provide a wrapper or interface to run through cmd?
I checked for bat and cmd files. The available options are to open (I assume with command prompt), runas (as admin command prompt) and edit (with notepad). I am guessing that bat and cmd files don't run in powershell or wscript.exe so there isn't anything additional to add to the context menu, right?
For VBS, it looks like you can open with wscript, open with cmd and edit with notepad, so I am guessing the only other two logical context menu options would be to open with wscript and cmd elevated, right?
