Do the Group Policy thing in the first post (I selected Enable). The run the enable reg file also in the first post.

    Restart. Then.......

Download the latest vivetool (0.21 as of today) and then open an elevated command prompt inside the folder you unzip it to.

At the prompt type and run.......

    vivetool.exe addconfig 27368843 2

    Then type and run......

    vivetool.exe addconfig 27371152 2

    Restart.

    Then it will be there
Thanks for the rundown. Thats the nuclear option. It's not so much I'm compelled to have it there to USE it, I just want to make sure that its not missing due to something I did. I know m$ said something about a staggered rollout etc so I'm not sure if installing the update means it should be there period.

Gonna play around a bit and see what happens.

Not everything works with every version of Windows. That one does not work here either. I would reverse it as it says in that post if it does not work for you.

    Thanks Brink.
I do not like it when our permission is not asked to display it.
The disable reg file worked perfectly for me.

I had this widget sitting on my Taskbar after the latest Windows Update.
But it only happened on one computer. The others don't have it.

Hi, here on my machine this function is not working, I tried everything indicated in the previous posts and nothing, I believe that Microsoft has not yet released the resource for everyone.

    Hello Rogerio ,

Correct. The News and Interests feature is a phased roll-out that everyone should have soon.

It is required to have the Chromium based Microsoft Edge installed, and be updated to the latest build of Windows 10.
