How to Pin or Unpin History Pane in Microsoft Edge Chromium
Microsoft has adopted the Chromium open source project in the development of Microsoft Edge on the desktop to create better web compatibility. This new Microsoft Edge runs on the same Chromium web engine as the Google Chrome browser, offering you best in class web compatibility and performance.
The new Chromium based Microsoft Edge is supported on all versions of Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows Server (2016 and above), Windows Server (2008 R2 to 2012 R2), and macOS.
There is a history button option for the toolbar in Microsoft Edge.
Clicking on the history button will open a History panel allowing you to view and open all, recently closed, and tabs from other devices from your browsing history. You can also manage your browsing history and clear browsing data from this History panel. The History panel can also be pinned to the right side of Microsoft Edge.

This tutorial will show you how to pin and unpin the History pane in the Chromium based Microsoft Edge.
The history button is currently only available as part of controlled feature roll-outs in the Dev and Canary channels of Microsoft Edge, so not everyone will have this feature yet.
The history button will always show on the toolbar while the History pane is pinned to the right side of Microsoft Edge even if you turned off showing the history button.
The History pane will automatically unpin when you close Microsoft Edge.
