The answer for that is to use the Contact Support app on your All Apps menu to have a Microsoft agent run the DISM commands to correct all the Windows Store apps. I have used that route before and it makes life a lot easier if you have never messed with DISM.

Your're welcome. Now make an image backup of your system so you can always recover to a fully functional computer.

    Everything stays the same ?

I too ended up here by getting the " sfc /scannow in an admin command prompt, however when it completes I receive this message:

"Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some
    of them.

I just want to double check if I move forward with this "repair install" that I won't lose anything...e.g programs, settings...files etc. I do have an image with macurim, but I believe it is an image with errors on it cause I made it and then ran the sfc scannow and it shows errors not repaired. I just don't want any surprises.

    Thank you

Hello spyfox, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

The only items that will be affected are those mentioned in the red warning box at the top of the tutorial. You will not lose any of your installed programs or apps.
