    WINDOWS 10 Nov update

I am on the November update version. Tried 3-4 ways to install Anniversary, but it balks. I have SFC errors and no commands can fix them. I would like to Repair/Reinstall maintaining all programs. I have C:/ on SSD. Most programs 380+ on a SSDHD, Documents on another HD & pagefile on another SSD.

ADD more info to your Post above so People know what errors you are getting and what you have done so far , otherwise people will only be repeating themselves and wasting everyone's time, your's included.

By Googling each bug and error for some hours today I now have a clean report from SFC finally after many months and installed Anniversary update prior to this SFC check result. So my sit is over. Very happy. I always thought Windows Defender should be used somewhere in background and now I enabled it with 1607 update. All is well. Hard fight. Something I did worked...maybe taking full control of Catroot2 so I could do a rename to .old in a cmd sequence of commands to repair Windows Update or finding that PID# 1492 for me so I could even shut down Windows Update by command..something worked! Fixed.

Yea for some reason they enabled the Defender to work WITH other anti-virus in the new version 1607 build 14393. In previous editions it would disable itself if it detected other virus software.

True, with Defender Enabled in 1607, it is claiming it will do intermittent Scans only (paraphrased) but I haven't looked into it too deeply.

    Hello bricko, :)

You can use a Windows 10 ISO instead if you like.

None of the Download buttons work on the site for me, not ISO, not MCT

I see that you're also in OK and use Cox like me. The link in OPTION ONE below is working fine for me in IE11. Do you have any add-ons installed that could be blocking it?
