The Video Hub brings together videos in a single location within the Microsoft News app for easy browsing. You can access the Video Hub via the side navigation pane.

Microsoft has added a new mini player for the Video Hub with support for picture-in-picture mode. Now you can switch to the mini player and continue watching videos while multitasking in Windows 10. You can drag and position the mini player to any part of your desktop.

This tutorial will show you how to switch between the standard player and mini player mode for the Video Hub in the Microsoft News app in Windows 10.

Here's How:

1 Open the Microsoft News app.

2 While you have a video open in the Video Hub, click/tap on the Switch to mini player button in the standard video player. (see screenshot below)

3 When ready to switch back to standard player mode in the Microsoft News app, click/tap on the Switch to standard player button in the mini video player. (see screenshot below)
