In that case, you could try the method in the tutorial below to uninstall OneDrive instead.
Uninstall OneDrive in Windows 10
Thanks. I think tomorrow I will make two virtual machines one with 1803 and one with the most up to date public build to see if this is an issue with my machine or if this solution is just outdated on the current Windows version. I am not sure if this forum marks post as redundant on newer versions or not however I should imagine it would help for people to know.
Usually the tutorials are kept updated as spotted, or marked as no longer valid when it can't be made to work anymore.
This tutorial still works for me though, so hopefully we can find out what is going on for you.
To confirm, disabling OneDrive using this tutorial (following by restarting the computer) will also remove the OneDrive Icon in the navigation pane as well as the OneDrive right-click context menu entries, correct? Or would it be better to uninstall altogether? Thanks!
Got it. I have Google Drive and Dropbox but not OneDrive so there is no need for the extra clutter. Is it better to disable OneDrive in the registry rather than uninstall? For the same reason it is not advised to uninstall Microsoft Store and other apps tightly integrated within the OS.
