If you mean for your folder view settings getting reset back to default, then you could try doing a system restore using a restore point dated before applying the .bat file.

In the future, you can backup your folder view settings to be able to restore as needed.
Any news regarding auto-arrange? Still missing this feature.

To Brink, maker of the blessed disable-auto-arrange-thing: any chance you can fix it so it will work again? I remember you also explained a way (long ago) to do it manually - is that risky? Possible?

This auto-arranging business was the nightmare, litterally, that i kept at bay by sticking to W7. 3 Days ago i surrendered, because i read your trick still worked. Since that i'm lost in a alfabetical, valueless world.What's more, what if this lack of incentive to create one's own hirarchy of importance in subject generates alfabetical generations, having no training in discriminating between right and alt-right? (Sorry if that's too much, it's s how my mind works)
