Restore Windows Photo Viewer in Windows 10

Brink, can you give me a step by step on this as the images are a bit vague..that or I just havent had enough coffee yet.

I'm not sure what you mean by the images being a bit vague. Could you provide more details about what you needed help with?

written directions, from step 1 to complete?

I been there a few times.

Basically, you would just need to do step 2, steps 4-7 to merge the .reg file, then do step 8 to set Windows Photo Viewer as the default program. The link in step 8 will show you more details for that.

Please let me know what you need anything more specific for.

Thanks for this. However it doesn't work 100% here : when i do right clic/open with, i have only 3 entries here, and the default windows viewer is not one of them.. Perhaps bringing back the "preview" button like in 7 would be great, some tweak apps can do that, isn't it? The other option, more annoying, in the fact that in "default programs", i still only have TIFF for the viewer.. Why not all just like you?!
