    Hello Dave,

I'm not aware of a way to do so.

It's looking more and more like I'm going back to Win 7. 10 is garbage for gamers anyway.

Okay thank you for speedy reply :)

Hi Brink , Thanks for this awesome tutorial. I noticed some shortcuts have a generic png icon , anyway to fix this problem.

Hello be0wulf, and welcome to Ten Forums.

    You're most welcome.

Double check to make sure that Windows Photo Viewer is still set to open .png files by default.

If it is, then see if refreshing (F5) the window the shortcuts are in may toggle to show the thumbnail.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I was able to fix it by restoring the .ico default file type association.

Well Redstone 5 is out, and any hopes of Microsoft restoring or adding alternate means of importing photos, quickly faded.

Seems this no longer works for Win10 1809. It adds PhotoViewer in the default app drop down but all the other keys just goof up the associations. The only way I can get this to work is to use just the enable photo viewer keys then I'm forced to go into default apps and select photo viewer manually. That covers all the major ones.
