Not a major problem but since I remember, each photo format had its own icon in Windows 7 but in 10, it's all the same as .tiff

Option 2 would give you what you wanted instead.

Undo Option 1 first, then apply Option 2.

    Thanks
Regardless of the icon, which method is best?
If Option 1 is better, then I'll stick with it

What's better really depends on your wants, but I like Option 2 best.

Option 1 only gets applied to the current user, and uses Tiff as a reference for the Windows Photo Viewer.

Option 2 gets applied to all users, and adds the other file type references for the Windows Photo Viewer.

Please go ahead and post a screenshot showing what you're seeing to see if it may reveal more about what's happening.

After a clean install of Windows 10 I'm trying to get my old photo viewer back. I tried option 2 and the viewer it brought back lacked the "edit" features of the old version. I used to be able to open a picture, edit (in a number a ways), resize, etc.
I was unable to find these features, so I hit undo to reverse the restore.

Does your restore bring back full functionality, or only some features?

I noticed a few builds ago (maybe 10162) that you could no longer set Windows Photo Viewer as the default picture opener. Now, it seems that MS is forcing you to use the Photos "app" instead. Is anyone else getting this issue?

I really liked the Windows Photo Viewer in Windows 7... The photo viewer built into Windows 10 is terrible. Anyone know any good replacements? Something light weight.
Greetings. When watching photos in Windows Photo Viewer all colors are added a "yellow" look. How do I change that so it looks normal? If I resize the window so there are borders, they are yellow allso! Look at attached eksample.
