    I did the install and its fine except the touch pad is a bit touchy. I have the water mark saying I have to activate it. Were or how would be the best way to buy and do this? I was hoping it would be free but guess not.

    going with amazon's codes aren't good? they seem to be $70 cheaper.

    update..
    seems many complained on amazon of counterfeit etc. so not worth the hassle to try amazon.

    no it doesn't. came with win 7 pro tho. Bought it used off ebay years ago. dell latitutude e6530

    that isn't me in that post you have me confused with another. i have win7pro. always did. I wonder if dell would send me the key maybe on file? or reinstall 7 I have imaged in Reflect and find a written key? is that possible?

    If your Windows 7 was previously legitimately activated then it would have updated to Windows 10 and activated automatically, I think you should revert to your imaged Windows 7 and take a look at the key and activation status.
