Ok so i installed the standard driver and had Nvidia control panel....having problems with slow startup from shutdown and hibernate, so updated the graphic driver automatically from Dvd manager, it was successful but now the Nvidia control panel has gone again and getting the pop message telling me......not sure what to do, dont want to disable the message....any thoughts ?

Yes did that, but according to my research, the latest drivers do now NOT include the nvidia control panel, due to some sort of licensing arrangement only MS hosts it now, and after, downloading it ( which isn’t clear ) it gives an install button which does nothing, found dozens of similar rants on forums about the MS store install not working....

Still happening, the NCP is now not included in the driver...

    Attachment 283502

cant install from MS store, not sure what to do.....I am not alone, there are many in forums with the same issue

What happens when you try to install NVIDIA Control Panel from the Microsoft Store below?

That seems the easiest solution, but I click on get, then it says you already own this, then I click on install and that’s it.....Nothing happens......so frustrating

Is it listed as an app to open from your Start menu?

No, I searched for control panel and nvidia and just offers web links

have now reinstalled the standard driver, have to install GeForce experience to get the control panel, but can be uninstalled separately afterwards....pity Nvidia don’t have a third option, ‘ driver & control panel’ so ok for now, until windows updates the graphic driver, then control panel will be lost again.....the driver update should simply just update the driver & not remove the control panel....tried finding a way to contact nvidia, but the forum is so so difficult to navigate and no direct support that I can find.....

I had the same problem with the control panel, finally figured out you have to install it thru the windows store app, it wouldnt install any other way.
