That's the whole thing, NVIDIA no longer supplies this, yeah I know boggles the mind, only way is to get it from Microsoft store. That's what my intent was, to get the NVIDIA control panel back to working, but it appears that NVIDIA has been strong armed by Microsoft and after one of the recent W10 updates NVIDIA control panel has been removed, and no where can I find it other than I suppose going to Microsoft store.
Are you not able to install the app below?

It will not run though if you have the NVIDIA graphics driver installed with its own control panel.

That is the latest 442.19 version.

You could try reinstalling the driver, and select to do a clean install of it during setup.

Dude, you da man! That was totally the issue, I installed the DCH version (whatever that is) and went back and found the standard version, looked like the same driver/date, but installed it on my Cabinet and now I have the Control Panel, so all is well and thanks so much for hanging in there with a noob!
Lemme make sure gonna go reboot.

Nvidia icon in notification area has recently changed for me

I noticed that the Nvidia icon that usually resides in the notification area, which displays an "!" when a new driver is available is not there anymore. I used the helpful instructions in this thread to try and figure out what happened to it, only to discover that the previous icon has been replaced with an "Nvidia GPU Activity Icon" which is obviously different that the "regular" Nvidia icon.

I liked being notified by the "!" over the icon like before. Is anyone seeing what I'm seeing... I'm wondering if I've done something wrong and need to reinstall the Nvidia driver/Experience utility.
