    - perhaps a syncing issue between PCs?

Sometimes office and other software has settings for appearance particular to that program, independent of the general Windows setting. I don't have Office so can't check that.
    Hi Dalchina,

Just an update for you. I rebuilt my Windows 11 computer as a new computer (i.e. not using a previous profile) ant the problem remains.

I have also set my computer to never sleep while plugged in to power, yet the colors "reset", so the colors must "reset" in more instances than sleep and hybernation.

    Cheers,

I did once have Win 11 running as a VM and didn't notice that happening, as I did try that and Qttabbar (free) which I use for f. explorer backgrounds. However, Win 11 may have changed...

You would need to ask about that in elevenforum.com.

It happens in both Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Are you aware of an equivalent thread like this one in the elevenforum.com ?

    - I've not seen it reset other than after resume myself and have used this for years from Win 8 on.

I suggest you consider finding what's responsible for that on your PC- try a clean boot, see if it still occurs for example. Consider other tweaks you've made, scheduled tasks..

I don't use Win 11, so you'd need to explore elevenforum.com - but I don't think too many make this change so you may be out of luck in getting much help.
