Tried the registry settings and they did not work and after much searching I found this and it is working - for now that is:

    Option 3:
Click Start > Settings > Privacy > Background apps > toggle off the Microsoft Store
    Hello mate,

I'm not sure what you were wanting, but turning off the Microsoft Store in background apps below is not the same as disabling the ability to open Microsoft Store apps.

I see that you have Win 10 Pro, the Tutorial states this . . .

This tutorial will show you how to enable or disable the ability to open apps from the Microsoft Store for all users in Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 10 Education.

    I hope this helps.

I was trying to prevent Microsoft Store from opening when logging in or rebooting. =======================================

If you haven't already, you might check to see if the app is listed as a startup app below, and turn off or disable if so.

Version that I have is 19043.1165 and "Advanced options" is not available and I have disabled things like Cortana and Edge in "Task manager > Startup".
