    One quick question please!

    Would I be able to add something like [ just an example from one of my menus ] . . .

    Code:
    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\Shell\SafeMode\Shell\01NormalMode]
    @="Restart in Advanced Startup Options"
    "Icon"="bootux.dll,-1019"

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\Shell\SafeMode\Shell\01NormalMode\Command]
    @="Shutdown.exe /r /o /f /t 00"
    . . . by just using Shutdown.exe /r /o /f /t 00 or will I not be able to do things like this in the Win+X menu?
    You'll only be able to add shortcuts to the Win+X menu via the group folders.

    The shortcuts can be anything as usual though, including commands like that one.

    Great, thank you very much!

    [1] So to setup a Menu then, I just create a new Folder in Group 4 for example, and then Add the Shortcuts into the new Folder?
    [2] Or does the new Folder have to be a Shortcut?

    You would create a new Group4 folder, and place your shortcuts in it. No subfolders in Group4.

    You would of course need to also do the other steps to use hashlink.exe on your shortcuts in the Group4 folder to make them work.

    So are you saying that I can't have a flyout [sub-menu] menu in Group 4 with the Shortcuts in?
    A bit like Shut down or sign out in Group 1?

    That was hard coded in by Microsoft as part of the Power menu.

    I'm not aware of any way for us to do it.

    I have been thinking about this.

    If we were to setup a flyout in the registry, something like this for example [and it is only an example of a flyout menu] which I setup to be added to the Context Menu, but set it up somewhere else where it will not be seen or have any impact, is there no way to create a shortcut to the registry key . . .

    Code:
    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shell\ShutDown]
    "Position"="Top"
    "Icon"="C:\\My_Icons\\MyShutDown.ico"
    "SubCommands"=""
    ; [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shell\ShutDown\shell]
    ; ------------------------------------------------------
    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shell\ShutDown\shell\01SwitchUser]
    @="Switch User"
    "Icon"="C:\\My_Icons\\MySwitchUser.ico"
    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shell\ShutDown\shell\01SwitchUser\command]
    @="tsdiscon.exe"
    ; ------------------------------------------------------
    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shell\ShutDown\shell\02LogOff]
    @="Log Off"
    "Icon"="C:\\My_Icons\\MyLogOff.ico"

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shell\ShutDown\shell\02LogOff\command]
    @="Shutdown.exe -l -f"
    ; ------------------------------------------------------
    The Win+X menu does this with Control Panel, I know slightly differently, and the Shut Down in Group 1 must come from somewhere!
