    Hello Eddo,

    For Windows 10 Home, you could pause updates for up to 35 days.

    You could also see if this below may help until you're ready to install 1903.

    Eventually, you would need to install 1903 since Windows Update will beating down your door in a Home edition.

    How can I pause again after unpausing? The "turn on pause button" is greyed out.

    Hello Helbram,

    I'm afraid:

    "Temporarily pause updates from being installed on this device for up to (7 or 35) days . When updates resume, this device will need to get the latest updates before it can be paused again."

    If you like, you could use option 7 in the tutorial below with WUA Manager to disable automatic updates and be able to selectively install updates.
