Is this a Windows User Account Control issue? I'm not sure what it could be.
Hi Kari,
I have a single desk top PC running home edition and I am not able to get this to work. I have followed your tutorial a number of times and every time I try to open the software I get
" You are not authorized to view this page. If you recently updated Windows Admin Center, you may need to restart your browser, and then refresh the page."
My browser is Firefox and I have also had to permit it to connect as Firefox tries to block it saying that the certificate is self signed. Any guidance greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi Kari,
After spending some time on the web searching for reasons why Firefox will not load the WAM, it appears to be a major problem that has been going on for some time. I know you say use Chrome and Edge but I think it would help if you could add a note to say that Firefox at present does not work.
One of the main reasons for loading this software was that I suspect I have problems with some certificates and in fact it is saying that I have over 100 expired certificates. Are you aware of any help or tutorials on this site that can help me manage the certificates to bring things up to date?
Thanks.
In Windows Admin Center I added some remote host names. (Did not connect to hosts thereafter.)
Is it expected, as consequence of those additions, that I see host names in Value field of output of
Get-Item WSMan:\localhost\Client\TrustedHosts
?

What does it do for us?
> If ... computer is still not discovered, install WAC ... on target computer and run it once, connecting to local computer
No connection to any target until I did that in the target. What a time-consuming pain. What a terrible amount of work for those who have many targets.
Just had this PITA hit me today. After having 3 perfect weeks (on this new build of Windows 10 ENT 20H2) and WAC - today I changed my local account password and WAC is dead. I get the certificate prompt - but the same lame message as others have noted:
" You are not authorized to view this page. If you recently updated Windows Admin Center, you may need to restart your browser, and then refresh the page."
Have no idea where to look now - but this is very poorly designed as is. Running the very latest WAC with the very latest EDGE. Any tips would be appreciated - outside of a WAC reinstall which would make me very annoyed.
Sonic.
