    I've updated option 1 to help make it more clear and to include what you posted to help.

    While using an admin account with the same user name and password on each computer does indeed make it easier, you should still be able to share with any account.

    I would suggest amending the SMBv1 instructions to use it only if there is a device on the network that absolutely needs it.
