The commands worked smoothly. Thank you.

Now the question is whether the rollback is available and works when it is needed.
(Some stackable update or other modification may prevent a featured upgrade rollback?)

    Code:
    Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.19042.804]
    (c) 2020 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>DISM /Online /Get-OSUninstallWindow

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
    Version: 10.0.19041.746

    Image Version: 10.0.19042.804

    Uninstall Window : 10
    The operation completed successfully.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>DISM /Online /Set-OSUninstallWindow /Value:60

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
    Version: 10.0.19041.746

    Image Version: 10.0.19042.804

    The operation completed successfully.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>

That is always a good question, and a very good reason to keep multiple system images.

Of course, this setting may get reset back to default after an update. It would be smart to double check this setting after each update.

    Hi Shawn:
I was wondering if there was a similar way to extend time to uninstall an update, or is that not possible?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello Phil,

I'm not aware of an option like this for updates.

Usually, previous cumulative updates will no longer be able to be uninstalled when a new cumulative update is installed. Only the last one can be uninstalled.

Optional updates can usually be uninstalled at anytime so long as not superseded by a newer version.

IS it still possible or any other way?
Want to check Win11 Insider, but would like to have 30-60 days to go back to 10.

Unfortunately both method one and two end with Error 1168...

That error message indicates there's not a previous version available to go back to.
