Hi, does this anywhere discuss specifically taking a screenshot of dropdowns or the start screen, say, - things that disappear when you click elsewhere?

Just saw such a question - clearly PrtSc and the key combo for snip and sketch- which works rather well for this to my suprise- seem relevant. Perhaps a small sub-section near the top? Thanks.

Good point. The "New snip in xxx seconds" option works great for this.

Query, Snip & Sketch seems to function as per design , but i can only draw an outline of required snip ,rectangle ,freeform etc via my right click > drag outline >mouse button ,is this correct .

    Hello Oldhead,

Correct, you would need to draw (outline) what you want to take a screenshot of when using the Rectangle Snip and Freeform Snip options.

If you use the Windows Snip option, you should be able to just click/tap on the window you want take a screenshot of.

Just tried using snipping tool today and it forwarded me on to snip & sketch, which it didn't do only a couple of days ago. So it must've been a recent change.
