I just tested on my system to see if anything may have changed, and they're still working for me.

If you don't mind, post a screenshot showing this to see if anything may stand out.
I'm not sure if this matters - but I had upgraded for free (not a clean install) last week from Win7Pro to Win10Pro using Microsoft's "MediaCreationTool1803.exe" - and the version installed was Win10Pro Build 1803.

It should still work in all versions of Windows 10.

Thanks for all your help Shawn - I had Spector Pro installed in Win7 which saves screenshots and keylogging- but this wasn't working in Win10 - so I am unable to provide any further details.

What I will do is to keep you updated when I change my hard disk to the one containing Win10.

Besides the File Explorer issues, I was disappointed to see that a lot of my favorite programs such as Spector Pro, Ccleaner and issues with Internet Explorer quirks when Java is installed - and these made me go back to my Win7 disk.

Thanks once again for the quick responses.

    Best regards

    Mike

In File Explorer, Navigation Pane, right-click on an empty space and select "Show all folders" shows the current user folder and all sub-folders mentioned at the beginning of this tutorial article as well, right? What do the registry tweaks in this tutorial accomplish that the right-click does not? Thanks!

    Hello,

What you mentioned is only for the user profile folder showing in the navigation pane.

The tutorial allows you to hide or show specific folders inside your profile folder instead at the locations in the example screenshots.

Got it. So these registry tweaks allow specific sub-folders in the to be shown or hidden in the user folder directory in the navigation pane where as the "Show all folder" right click menu only shows or hides all of the folders collectively. Correct? Thanks!
