    I just got this update:
Turn On or Off Core Isolation Memory Integrity in Windows 10-image.png

Then rebooted, and after the reboot Core Isolation was turned OFF.
So I turned it back on, rebooted, again, hoping maybe the switch will let you turn it off, meaning the bug or feature, was fixed.

    No chance

    Hi everyone!
Just updated to the Win10 April Spring update and ran into the same issue of not being able to turn VBS OFF - the issue persists. Ran across this thread when looking for solutions and thought I’d update you guys. Also, thank you for the fix!

So I used this tool to force core isolation on

It worked, and after reboot, I got an error message about Zemana anti-malware, that the driver cannot start up. Apparently. that is why I could not enable it the usual way. I heard that a lot of anti-malware products don't yet support core isolation.
I don't even use Zemana for real-time protection, only for on-demand scanning. But the driver runs at startup.

    Thank you shmu26.

Luckily, you don't need to use a 3rd party program to make the registry changes.

Hmm, this below is what I'm seeing in Windows 10 build 17639.

I'm unable to turn off "Memory integrity", but I do not have any group policies configured despite the red message below.

    Attachment 184309

Has anyone found a fix for this?? I am actualy trying to turn on Core isolation, and I am receiving the same error message. Option two, downloading the reg file did not work for me.

    thank-you
