Yes I understand that, I was trying out in my home network printer, but it didn't work.
So apparently the Canon printer/scanner combination machine uses a special port called MFNP port which gets installed with the driver to be fully functional.
The printer is connected via LAN, and the printer works but not the scanner.
This happened after upgrading to Windows 10. I tried deleting and reinstall the drivers,
but the driver install wizard cannot detect the printer in the network. So I cannot reinstall the driver at all
(the MFNP port is gone as well)
luckily, on the other computers there are fully functioning drivers, so I tried to backup from there and install it on the other one.
I tried again, by putting them under System32 folder and everything, but it still does not work :/
both exporting and importing.
I am assuming this is windows 10 home compatibility issue? maybe it only operates on pro version??
