Folks, you don't need this propitiatory crap. You can do this with the free and open source App called Aegis available at the Google play store. You'll find their code at Github.
I use Aegis on my phone and on the computer I use the free and open source Keepass password manager with the plug-in KeepassOTP. 2FA (Two Factor Authentication or One Time Password OTP). All 2FA does is use a base32 code for time based one time passwords. Nothing more, nothing less. No propitiatory, privacy invading nonsense needed. If you want a great password manager for Android, check out Keepass2Android. The database is also compatible with Keepass on the computer. Keepass2Android also has a built-in 2FA mechanism. But it's not very intuitive. Also, consider getting all or at least most of your Apps from F-droid. Better yet, if your phone is compatible, try GrapheneOS or Linage... You just use the ADP (Android Debug Bridge) software and flash away. Just read the step by step guides.
