Starting this week, Prime Video is rolling out a new, redesigned experience within the Prime Video app on connected living room devices, including Fire TV, as well as on the Android app. This new experience will be available on these devices to all Prime Video customers worldwide this summer, with iOS and Web to follow. We are redesigning the Prime Video experience to highlight our broad selection of content and to make it easier for customers to find the content they love.

Let’s check out the new updates:

    Arrgh!

Those crumbs at Amazon took away all my Star Trek stuff, including the original series - everything.
Now it's on the Paramount Channel.

Won't be renewing Prime for next year!

Not Amazon's fault. Paramount owns the rights to the stuff and decided they wanted their own channel. Amazon can't show their movies without rights to do so (for a big chunk of money )

It's actually just sheer greed -- now there's far too many of these services which have splintered content so much that if you want to see even a modicum of stuff you need to subscribe to around 25,000 different services -- which are often Geo blocked as well.

I'm sure though there are other solutions -- but that's not the problem here of course. The real answer is for subscribers to say enough is enough, and stop paying until there's a more sensible amalgam of services.

Meanwhile get a Kindle, enjoy some books and decent music. !!

    Cheers

You're not wrong... It used to be, at least in the US, that you have the cable company provide you all of the channels that you wanted to watch. Nowadays, where "cutting the cord" has pretty much completed, one would need quite of few streaming services to actually watch what one may need. The cost of these streaming services countinue to rise and reached to the point, that with a few streaming services, it may just cost the same as keeping the cable TV.

It's just basic greed, where every entity wants a piece of the pie:

I hate to agree but you are right.

I was watching The Expanse on Amazon Prime but now that has concluded. I signed up with Paramount+ just because of Star Trek. While waiting for new Star Trek series on Paramount+ to come out with new episodes I am catching up on Star Trek: Enterprise. Now I only keep Amazon Prime because I do a lot of buying on Amazon.
