Still down, reminds me of October 16, 2018, where it was YouTube, and I got the "monkey error".....

I wonder if both October, 2018 and October, 2021 are DDoS attacks.....

As on October 16, 2018, I noticed my internet speeds being as slow as poop!

YouTube was still fine for playing videos, the last time I checked.

We are back in the room in the UK FB and insta back up

Plenty of serious discussion groups rely on that as well...for example, a friend's class in Ancient Greek.

Personally I'm in the 'What's Whatsapp?' camp? I came close to using it as the touring group I joined in Georgia had started using it in Turkey, but I couldn't register as I think I had to receive a text or something to do so.

I imagine plenty were suffering "mental heath" crises...!

Apparently the outage was entirely self-inflicted - you couldn't make this stuff up
