    Hi there
it really is the "Inmates in Control of the asylum" or "Foxes in charge of the Hen house"

Mind you It's California so what do you expect !! Probably the only place on the planet where Climate Protestors turn up in droves in Giant SUV's and diesel Pick-up trucks the size of Sherman Tanks !!!! (and less fuel efficient too).

    Cheers

It is amusing to compare the two Alienware desktops

California Confusing Energy Law May Have Taken Away Your Gaming PC-2021_07_30_09_46_501.jpg

The only difference between them is
Computer on left: 1TB hard drive (boot and data)
Computer on right: 256GB SSD (boot) and 1TB hard drive (data)

Only the computer on the right can be sent to a state like California.

The dumbest thing is that neither computer is really a "gaming" computer.
An Intel i5, an Nvidia GTX 1650 Super, and 8 GB RAM. Really!!!
A real gamer that is buying an Alienware would get a much better computer.

The following shows how dumb the law is. This is a real gaming computer with a top end CPU and GPU. It seems the only thing that really makes a difference is the boot drive. To comply with the law all you need is a computer with an SSD boot drive.

Just as i pointed out previously, its climate change lunacy written by those who have no real knowledge of electric energy or energy period.

    Hi folks
As previously stated - just think of "Asylums and Inmates".

I'd rather have a group of serious gamers running all sorts of simulations on Climate Change than some of the "Non technical" Politically correctness brigade rabbitting on about things they have utterly no understanding of.

However I'm afraid Politics wise over the whole planet quality seems to be forever in a race to the bottom. California probably isn't the most extreme in this area but is certainly the most Vocal.

    Cheers
