Google Protecting users from insecure downloads in Google Chrome

    Most downloads are already done via https, so it will just force a few leftovers to switch to it.
    I am looking forward to it, my browser is allowed to connect only via https and it is pretty OK.

Google chrome blocking file-downloads it deems as suspicious tried downloading irfanview from the irfanview website, but chrome blocks it. is there a way of getting round this, a registry hack perhaps thanks Google the ' internet Police...
