Click on Recording tab, next to Playback, what is your default recording device?
Most likely, it is something like this, so it plays, what you are listening to.
Change your default recording device to something else, or disable all.

Does not matter, I use headphones with speaker icons, use same settings on headphones as external speakers anyway.
If you want, select the Speakers(greentick circle) on the left > Properties > First Tab > Change Icon (headphones) > Apply > OK > OK.
The Realtek HD Audio Manager on mine just shows speakers for either. Nothing to fix, nothing is wrong.

The only way computer can distinguish what's plugged in is device's impedance which should be different for speakers and earphones but if they are close enough they can't do that. Most earphones have higher impedance than amplifiers and speakers connected to them but if they don't or computer doesn't have appropriate sensor it'snot possible to do that.
