Hi I'm new here and need some help.
I have Dell Laptop with Realtek HDA AL3234 (it's not ALC), Dell rarely update their drivers and last Realtek driver was released on 22 March 2019. I have tried few latest Realtek drivers (from Necacom) but none of the drivers work with my Realtek. It installs but Dell Audio Sound Manager does not work properly, most of the features don't work.
I wonder if there's any way I can install new drivers or if there is any Dell specific Realtek drivers?
My Dell Realtek driver also have built-in MAXXAUDIO PRO. I also tried windows 10 update but its the worst one.
    Thanks

Hey all I'm also new here. I did the Win 10 upgrade to 1903 and everything seemed to go ok but I now have no sound. It's was fine prior to the upgrade. I looked for a driver update but Windows said I already had the best one. My current driver is a Realtek 6.0.1.7544 listed as Realtek HD Audio in the device manager. Is there an updated driver that I can install manually to get the sound back? From what I've read this problem seems to have affected quite a few people. Is there a fix for this or will I have to revert to the prior version of Win 10? Thanks.

That's what I'm trying to do. Windows updates says there are none. Same thru Dell updates. What is the latest for my version?

Thanks. Will do that once I get home from work. I just did a quick search and theoretically this one should work.

My Dell PC is 5 years old and still runs flawlessly. It was shipped with Win 8.1 Pro so it had to come with one of the supporting Realtek Audio Chip numbers for the above link driver update. Hopefully this works since I really haven't come across anyone saying "update to this after 1903 update and sound will be back". It doesn't necessarily need to be the latest driver update just once that works with Win 10 1903.

For those using Realtek UAD, version 6.0.8726.1 WHQL is now available.

For most of us using HD Audio driver, an equivalent driver should be out soon.
If it's not 8726, seems it might be 8730.

This is confusing, There are so many different update versions I don't know which one will work if any. I tried the most recent from Realtek website and it installed fine with Win 10 1809 and 1903 however I still had no audio with 1903. Also when it installed it now says "Realtek Audio" but before driver update it said "Realtek High Definition Audio. Also tried updating with a cab file update and windows wouldn't let me saying I already had best driver installed.
