Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version

I can't answer your PM but thank you, it's working. I did a clean install, on driverstoreexplorer I couldn't find anything mentioned on the notes. I didn't notice any difference on sound but I didn't try yet with headphones, just using speakers.
Keep me posted, I hope it works.

Ok, Matt.
I'm uploading a copy of the best drivers(8648)FFO6 version I have to my OneDrive share folder.
When it's done I will pm you a link to it.
When you get it, don't forget to unblock it in properties before unpacking it.
Then you need to totally uninstall the ones you have now. You might want to see also if the MAXXAudio also need to be separatly uninstalled. I recommend using Geek Uninstaller to do it.
Reboot.
Then go into regedit and delete the registry keys to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Realtek\Audio (see if MaxxAudio has it's own key there also) if they are still there.
Reboot
If you have a system search tool like Everything or
UltraSearch, use that to search Realtek and MaxxAudio.
Attachment 233968
Then Install the new drivers.
Hey, I have the 8648 HDA drivers from alanfoxx2000 github, FF06, that's what i have installed on my system atm. Should I just remove everything like you said and install it again? also was wondering if UAD would be better, but seems way too complicated to install, maybe if there was 1 simple exe file to doubleclick and be done haha

About the HDA you can try that,
For UAD I only have a copy of the ROG ones for Z370 & Z390 ROG motherboards.
To do a clean install in both cases follow my instructions here: Realtek Audio Console REQUIRES a Realtek HD (UAD) Driver!!
Be sure to follow "every single" step on uninstalling and deleting!
You should skip the parts to do with the UWP apps for Sonic Suite, and if you do decide/or need to go with a UAD version of Realtek then I believe the Store link to Realtek Audio Control is ok to get. if not, you can always make adjustments in Control panel/sound, and in settings sound.

Hi Cliff,
I cannot find the HDA 8648 version for my ASRock H310M-HDV (ALC887). I'd appreciate if you could guide me about where can I find it. Thank you.

So I uninstalled realtek driver and killed everything related to it, restarted my pc and my gaming headset is working, mic is visible and recording, so it was the realtek driver. I'll now install the 8648 FF06 HDA and will see what happens. Oh wait, WTF? while I was writing this Windows automatically installed some random Realtek driver 7553, what now?

The best I could find where these gerneric 8648 UAD drivers(from a member of Station Drivers): 8648_UAD_WHQL_Nahimic_1300_2019_0308_141257
And for you to get your Audio Control(if it doesn't automatically install: ASRock > FAQ
And it's clean, virus total results: VirusTotal

You need to go into advanced system setting and set Windows to not be allowed to download and install drivers, follow the numbers
Then uninstall the 7553 and go ahead and install right after the reboot the ones you want.

So without any realtek driver my headset mic worked perfectly, once I managed to install Realtek HDA FF06 8648, my mic does not work anymore, I am back where I was. Maybe there is something wrong with that 8648 driver, or should i try to install a generic one FF00? Or if someone could tell me how, I would install UAD version of 8648?
