    As I've posted on numerous occasions, do a Google search for Necacom or Station-Drivers. GitHub, or LaptopVideo2Go and you will find the driver downloads on any one of these. I tend to prefer Necacom because they test before they post any driver on their site... personal preference.

    Best of luck!

    @Brink

    Microsoft Update Catalog

    Latest at M$ is now 8622.

    Also, the link under the title on page 1 of the thread is still using 2018 as part of the search term, thus not getting any driver since the new year.

    Thank you John.

    Link in first post fixed for 2019.

    It looks like all the 8622 downloads are not large enough for a universal HDA driver version.

    Gonna throw it out there... for me, 8633's overall sound is the best I've heard in a long time.
    Everything is well-balanced.

    Having a bit of trouble with this. I download and extract a CAB file, but if I go to Update driver and 'Browse my computer for driver software' then pick the extracted CAB folder, it tells me that the best driver is already installed.

    If I pick 'Let me pick from a list' and 'Have Disk', I then pick a random .inf file from within the extracted CAB folder (I just pick the first one), but it tells me the folder 'doesn't contain a compatible software driver'.

    Any ideas?

    Actually I posted a little while back that Microsoft does not support using Device Manager anymore to uninstall & install any 3rd party drivers(either this thread or the UAD one).

    It can still be done, but generally with less than satisfactory results.

    It's recommended to use an installer/uninstaller.
