Jack-sensing seems to work when things are plugged in (I get the popup when I plug things in). It worked on the older motherboard and the HD Audio header. I'll update when I learn more.
6.0.1.8451
x64bit - Windows 10 1803
For whatever reason, this breaks the UI (it says it can't find a supported device or something) for the UWP app I started using. Granted, I did mess around a bit with things, MSI made a new UWP app available for my motherboard, it's a pretty straight forward replacement of the Realtek CP plus some MSI branding, as you can see in the images. I can't find a link to the Store download...
MSI would offer: Realtek HD Universal Driver, Version 6.0.1.8425
I would update this driver from Device Manager. As one can see in the image, .8447 works great. .8451 does not. Not sure why. Just to be clear, the sound still seems OK, but I can no longer do anything in the UWP app.
I have a msi board and the realtek msi software I use realtek msi HD_6.0.1.8010 (64 bit) I kept a copy of it before msi removed it from their download page for my msi motherboard you can get it here on my Google drive link https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kKX...w?usp=drivesdk
