Hi,
Ironically, I'm on that hacked version that supports DTS..... 8393 actually.Gone back to 8378 :)
Odd how RT drivers never seem to install this DTS whereas the chip I use definitely does support it it.
Cheers,

Hi,
That's odd. I installed that version and gone were support for DTS and Dolby. So I will stay on my 8395 , which works very fine , with DTS and Dolby enabled.............

more 8393 downloads have shown up recently:
8393 x64 with Creative mbapo32.dll/mbapo64.dll/mbapo232.dll/mbapo264.dll files included (139.9Mb)
(download link)
once again the mbapo232.dll & mbapo264.dll files are version 2.0.0.3 and only allow integrated X-FI MB3/MB5, SBCinema & SBX 360/720 apps to only work under Win10 and not under Win7 & Win8.1 due to new DLL dependencies with the newer mbapo232.dll & mbapo264.dll files. I'll definitely use this specific v8393 pack on my aunt's Dell Inspiron 580 after I upgrade the OS on her PC from Win7 to Win10 later this year.
8393 x64 SST download (303.4Mb) [yup that's right it's 300Mb+] (includes Dolby DAX2 & DAX3 apps and Intel SST related drivers)
the latest customized Realtek driver for that Crosshair VI Hero board is v6.0.1.8339 from ASUS, datspike (posted 2/27/2018). stick to using the drivers that ASUS provides on their web site; no need to use any of the realtek audio drivers from MS or from any other source besides ASUS as I've checked the download listings for the Crosshair VI Hero board on the ASUS support site.
what is the hardware device ID of your reatlek audio device, Tonyb? it depends on Realtek chipset and hardware ID used on your PC. Plus there are MANY forms of Dolby that you did not mention a specific version of Dolby [ex. PCEE3, PCEE4, DAX2, DAX3, etc.].
example > my brother's Sony Vaio VPCEB44FX laptop came with Realtek ALC269 audio chipset & the old Dolby Home Theater V3 (PCEE3) enhancement which was relatively weak - it uses hardware ID "HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0269&SUBSYS_104D4600" and the driver installs thru the HDXRT.INF file.
