@TUMIK Thank you!! I will give that a try.
Hi,
I tend to agree. But what on earth is a "digital boost" ?
Warm sound (especially from digital sources) is an indicator of predominantly even order distortion in the playback chain. That said the Realtek chips are just DACs/ADCs codecs.
The actual sound comes from the Intel HDA chip which is part of the PCH chip on the motherboard in most cases AZALIA.
Cheers,

Wow, no new driver in so long, 8366 must be perfect.
Honestly, I want change logs on this crap... Only driver I use on my PC that I have no idea WTF they are doing....
6.0.1.8371, but only for Huawei:
Microsoft Update Catalog
It's obvious that if you don't have Huawei, DO NOT update to this version.
I simply wanted to share it here in case someone does.
Dropbox - Realtek 8378.zip
New Nahimic driver mostly intended for MSI boards.
It's version 8378. It contains some Nahimic specific files(but does not include Nahimic itself) but should work on any.
My own experience is that these usually cause some popping sound but your mileage may vary.
honestly, I don't really care whether or not realtek publishes change logs for their audio drivers. but do check your local PC/OEM/board manufacturer for customized realtek audio driver updates provided for your computers
supported hardware ID for 8371 is the following:
only includes HDXRT4.inf file with SUBSYS IDs beginning with "19e5"hdaudio\func_01&ven_10ec&dev_0256&subsys_19e53e05
note: my family & I have recently changed internet providers - got Spectrum cable internet with download speeds up to 100Mbps and 15Mbps/20Mbps upload speed
just in: v6.0.1.8351 with MaxxAudio integration from Dell [for Dell Optiplex 3050, 5250, 7450 AIO PCs only] (includes Realtek ASIO drivers & Waves Maxxaudio software)
Perfect sound with Dolby , tested by me on Win10 x64 ! " http://www.mediafire.com/file/cww0r7...O-DTS-Dolby.7z "......very good !!
