Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version
-
How did you update the drivers? Mine is 10.0.16299.15 dated 9/28/2017 by Microsoft even if the ones under "Sound Video and game controllers" are all the latest and by respective suppliers (Realtek, Nvidia etc).
Both automated and manual (pointing to the Realtek driver folder) says the best driver is already installed.

I didn't update them and my Realtek driver is 8356.

I noticed your driver also says Microsoft and not Realtek.
Can someone help me with how to update Microsoft drivers for "Audio inputs and outputs"? I have tried Realtek drivers from 8311 to 8393 and all it does is updating the drivers for "Sound, video and game controllers".

It does not use any drivers, it's just a device description.

Your "High definition audio device" is most probably on GPU. Realtek one is a CODEC chip on the MB.

@CountMike Yeah, I know right, but even my Realtek Digital Output (Realtek High Definition Audio) unable to get 10.0.17618.1000

Right click on Realtek gives me all the driver options (update, disable, uninstall) except Realtek driver doesn't do anything with them.

dhm as fdegrove said the item your referencing doesnt actually update drivers its an informational link, sound video and game controllers is where you update drivers
your extra audio link in device manager may be a windows interface to those controllers and Id assume they may be part of your system driver package and not a separate driver, Id look in your pc driver disk that came with your pc.. like your bios

Waiting for your rating on this one...
It's not a bad sound, worth trying out but I find it not as good as build 8378 :) It's all down to personal preference.
