Can anyone tell me what version I'd use for the gigabyte z390 aorus ultra. Do they have a special Integration or anything? Z390 AORUS ULTRA (rev. 1.0) | Motherboard - GIGABYTE U.S.A.

Hey so funny thing, like I said, when i plug in my gaming headset vie splitter (mic, headphone), the mic does not work, it is if it only picks up noise, nothing else, like a little whitenoise generator. So after reading some stuff I tried something funny, I actually unplugged my microphone from my headset and plugged it directly via the mic input on my laptop, while headset was plugged in via headphone jack and what do you know, the mic works, so WTF is happening? lol I read somewhere that the realtek manager app is messing everything up and not recognizing headphones or headsets, not sure if it's true, but was wondering if anyone has some thoughts about it.
use either the 8586 or 8597 UAD drivers supplied by Gigabyte - no special integration included
the Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Ultra board comes supplied with Realtek UAD drivers, not HDA FFxx drivers (hence Gigabyte lists the 8586 UAD driver which is about 30Mb in size on the downloads page and supports Win10 v1809 & greater)
There are a few versions of Realtek High Definition Audio 6.0.8710.1 WHQL floating around.
I haven't downloaded the generic FF00 version, but will do so asap.
I've been using 8709 for a bit and I'm pretty happy with it, not sure if 8710 is going to offer any significant changes so...
