    I'm just giving build 8703.1 a go and finding the same as @Cliff S. The bass is exceptional, very punchy and tight but not at the expense of the top end which is still defined and clear

    Can confirm 8703 is quite punchy but mids seem a bit recessed. Highs are fine. Will listen to them for longer.

    Cliff, thank you very much for your help.
    Instead of UAD type driver, I was looking for the HDA type driver, version 8648, for my ASRock. My intention was actually to avoid using the stupid Relatek Audio Console Application from Maicrosoft (seems to be made for kids). I assumed the HDA drivers came with the nice Realtek HD Audio Manager Application, but I suppose I was wrong. Thank you again.
