Is the Realtek UAD universal or not? I'm seeing different OEM versions posted wtf? Makes no sense I thought it was all supposed to be universal and stuff. Anyways I need one with Nahimic for ASUS, ones posted for ASUS but doesn't say w/ Nahimic? Will it still work? I'm so confused help meow! Can I just install the UAD with Nahimic and download the UWP off Windows Store for Realtek and Sonic Studio 3? Or will it lock me out or something because I did searches on Windows Store it doesn't show results for them but I found the links provided by people here. Makes no sense!

Im using the UAD-Nahimic , which works very well ( its the 8504 --version , just installed with the device-manager , updated to this version )
Not using the store-( trouble) drivers..........
You dont need them , if all works fine !

Yes I installed the HDA ones too. I'm just wondering how I can install the UAD version and download the Realtek and Sonic Studio 3 UWP's. Why does the github list all third party components but leave out Sonic Studio 3? Makes no sense! None of this stuff makes sense to me yet except the HDA

I uninstalled Realtek completely with CCleaner.
Re-installed but nothing changed.
When I add RtkAudioService64.exe to the registry and although Task Manager shows it is added to Startup, when I reboot nothing related to Realtek is running among processes and services.
I tried drivers from MS store, TenForums and Realtek website.
What can be causing this glitch?
Can it be that C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA folder is locket somehow?

I've given up all together on trying to use Realtek Audio.
I now use the Windows generic audio drivers and haven't had any issues since.

I'd gladly use Windows generic driver too, but it doesn't recognize my line-in microphone jack.
I need to plug a microphone, but in audio settings I don't even have a line-in microphone option.

Have you ruled out any possible hardware issues?
Like perhaps trying a different microphone, or using a different microphone port?

have you check under windows settings/ Privacy/ Microphone to see if windows is allowing apps to use the mic?BTW still no download link to 8504?

If you want, you can Google 6.0.1.8504 WHQ and you'll find it.
