Thank you for the warnings AveYo!
So I've connected the sub-woofer as you told me to, I've tried both the first and second method. The sub-woofer still works as a center speaker, not a sub-woofer in the Realtek HD Audio Manager software. There is still no option to change the center/ sub-woofer speaker output. That option is apparently normally there, no clue why it's not on my software although I guess it has something to do with my motherboard.

If there's no work-around I'll definitely give up on it and use my piece of trash speakers in a stereo setup instead! (:

Edit; If I use the red cable instead (right) of the white one (left) as you told me to, and turn the volume up high enough you can hear the test tune go through the sub-woofer as intended, it's just really low. In other words It's recognized as a sub-woofer in the Realtek HD Audio Manager software, as long as I use the red cable to right amp input instead of white cable to left amp input.
Edit2; If I turn off the bridged mode on the back of the amp the volume suddenly gets louder? Not sure if this is how it's supposed to react, or if it's still acting like a center speaker.

    Windows 10 (duh)

That's why I've used red for the unknown ohm subwoofer part. It makes quite a difference if it's 8ohm or if it's below that as bridged mono mode requires 8ohm or higher, on any amp I've seen. From the pictures posted I can see it's mentioned just under the red outputs. I don't see a bridge turn switch, but if there is one, it should have some warnings as to what you can connect in bridged mode. Most likely the subwoofer is below 8ohm (4?) so it's unsupported, cannot gain x2 output power. Stop connecting it to the two red outputs, instead use a normal black+red pair.

Anyway, there is no good choice when it comes to pairing 3 speakers to a single amp. Most, if not all 2.1 commercial products are actually 2 ams in one.

Best bet is to use the current amp for the 6ohm speakers in stereo mode, and get another cheap mono amp for the subwoofer.

    About realtek gui:
    - some options appear only under 7.1 or 5.1 mode.
    - enable bass management and full-range options.
    - disable auto popup dialog under Connector Settings, then use connector retasking option when right-clicking output panel icons
